We are looking for a Laundry Assistant to join our team.

Hours are 9.30am -3.30pm (some flexibility may be possible to start earlier or later) worked on a rota system over two weeks. Week 1 - Mon, Tues, Sat, Sun. Week 2 - Wed, Thurs, Fri.
- To ensure that all residents laundry needs are met.
- To ensure that safety regulations and safety procedures are followed accordingly
- To ensure the correct and economical use of equipment and materials
- To monitor and maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the laundry area and report any difficulties to the Manager
- To maintain equipment and materials directly concerned with laundry operations to meet Health & Safety Regulations
- To work as part of a team giving assistance where necessary
- To attend and participate in meetings with the Manager
- To work in accordance with policies and procedures to achieve quality
- Participate in appropriate training, staff development and supervisions
Requirements for Laundry role:
- Transferrable DBS Certificate is preferable but not essential
- More than 1 years experience working in a care home environment in the laundry is essential
- You MUST be able to demonstrate that you have the skills and experience to perform well in this role.
- To possess good manners and a flexible approach
- Ability to communicate on all levels

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £10.42-£10.70 per hour
